These Montessori threading discs are designed for little hands developing fine motor skills through threading! The design is a collaboration with Trina (find her on Instagram as @diycorporatemom and @alittlemontessori), a dedicated Montessori educator working to give more people access to quality Montessori materials. The materials can be ordered in three options:
Natural color/no finish Natural color/finished in beeswax and olive oil Dyed with our studio made organic food-based dyes/finished in beeswax and olive oil
The wooden “needle” is three inches in length, the leather extends to 6 inches, the bell is 1 inch in diameter, the discs are 2 3/8 inches in diameter. We use birch hardwoods for our materials.
