This material is extremely satisfying for infants of about 3 months and older. However, the bell may be used and enjoyed by baby as early as about 3 weeks. As these hang from the ceiling, the child learns to reach out and interact with them, clutching, hitting, and feeling them as they develop their hand-eye coordination and learn how they can interact with the environment around them. This exploration allows them to begin to develop more intentional interaction with the world around them.
This item includes both a bell and a wooden ring that be hung separately. They are attached with a ribbon and elastic to allow the baby to pull the materials.
Ring: 2.5" across Bell: 1.5"
Each comes with 4 feet of ribbon and about 4 feet of elastic which allows it to be adjusted to the perfect height for your needs from a standard ceiling height. Additionally, if you wish to hang your mobile from a mobile stand, we will make your total length 11.75 inches and include a top ring for hanging (last two images, action shots to come!). Ribbon comes colored as pictured, although if you have a special request for a color or length, please let me know in the comments and I will do my best to accommodate.
