These are recommended from the day of birth onward! We brought our set of wooden rings to the hospital for our daughter to hold while establishing nursing. It gave us an extra hand and kept her from scratching at her face (while soothing her with soft wood).
Set of 3 Montessori inspired wooden rings measuring 2.5 inches. Each ring is sealed with a completely natural homemade blend of beeswax and olive oil, making them a wonderful alternative to more modern rings. Please note that if you select “unfinished” the rings will be slightly rough in texture.
The rings are available in a variety of colors including natural, pink, green, orange, yellow, and purple. The colors are created through homemade dyes, using all natural ingredients: blueberries, red cabbage, onions, beets, and turmeric. The colors are more subtle than commercial dyes, so please see the example picture of dyes in each of these colors.
